Renal Pathologist

Hennepin Healthcare is an integrated system of care that includes HCMC, a nationally recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and acute care hospital. The comprehensive healthcare system includes a 484 bed academic medical center, a large outpatient Clinic & Specialty Center, and a network of primary and specialty care clinics in Minneapolis and in suburban communities. Hennepin Healthcare has a large psychiatric program, home care and hospice, and operates a research institute, and philanthropic foundation.

SUMMARY

Hennepin Healthcare System Inc. (HHS) currently seeks a Renal Pathologist to join the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.  HCMC is a University of Minnesota affiliated Level 1 trauma center, primary and tertiary care hospital with research and teaching programs. 

 This position is available to those interested in a full or part time commitment. There is a need for 0.5 FTE in renal pathology before May 2022. If a full time position is desired, additional time would be spent in other roles such as anatomic pathology, hematopathology, molecular pathology depending on the candidate’s strengths and evolving departmental needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD/DO/MBBS
• BC/BE in Anatomic Pathology
• Completion of a Nephropathology fellowship
• Licensed, or have the ability to obtain licensure, in the State of Minnesota
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
