Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology certified Pathologist
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full time Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology certified Pathologist with specialty interest in renal pathology and genitourinary pathology. This is an Open Rank faculty search with tenure optional position. Rank and tenure status are dependent on qualifications, experience, scholarly achievement, clinical service, and research. The successful candidate will participate in genitourinary surgical pathology and native and transplant kidney sign-out. Qualified candidates must have subspecialty fellowship training in one of the disciplines or expertise in both GU and renal pathology or one of the disciplines and another area of anatomic pathology. The position requires teaching of medical students, residents and fellows and scholarly activity is expected. Additionally, the qualified candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Candidates must have a MD degree or equivalent
Certification: Qualified candidates must be board-certified or eligible for certification in Anatomic Pathology.
Licensure: Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted licensure in the State of Virginia.
